A curious and whimsical brand identity for the most magical bookstore, Open Book in Mosman Park.
An open book is a vessel for ideas, imagination, learning and opportunity. It provides the possibility for the reader to be entertained, educated, thrilled or go on a journey to another world.
The red, paper-cut open book symbol represents ideas, discovery, learning and an open mind. The paper-cut style links back to the idea tangibility. Using the open book symbol as a vessel, abstract illustrations that depicted well-loved stories, curiousity and imagination were drawn to visualise the magical experience between the book and the reader.
